In summer many walking, hiking and climbing options are waiting for you in the beautiful scenery of the Dolomites of Sesto. The Dolomites of Sesto - Dolomiti di Sesto are now part of UNESCO world heritage.
The modern cable cars of the ski region Sesto Dolomites carry you comfortably up to the mountains: Monte Baranci in San Candido, Monte Elmo in Versciaco e Sesto and Croda Rossa in Val Fiscalina. Have you ever tried the summer toboggan run "Funbob" at the Baranci in San Candido? Fun is guaranteed for the whole family!!
Comfortable cycle paths lead you through the whole Puster Valley, for example the classic San Candido-Lienz (45 km gently downhill) and return easily by train. Challenging mountain bike tours take you up high in the mountains.
What about a relaxing walk through San Candido's pedestrian zone, the heart of the village, with many shops and bars which leave nothing to be desired.

Winter awaits you with the snow guaranteed ski region 3 Zinnen Dolomites. Perfectly prepared slopes, modern cable cars (Baranci, Elmo, Croda Rossa, Passo Croce), typical ski lodges and a unique winter landscape turn your winter holiday into something special.
Tobogganing on one of the natural toboggan runs is ideal for a trip with the whole family.
The Dolomiti NordicSki is Europe's largest cross-country skiing circuit, offering over 1,300 km of trails across eight regions in the heart of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Nordic Arena in Dobbiaco (4 km from San Candido) awaits you with its stadium, FIS-homologised slopes and a climbing hall.
Hikers find a lot of winter hikes on foot or snow shoes, in the winterwonderland Sesto Dolomites, also popular with ski touring. Guided hikes are offered.
